Hi everyone! Here's some info on a wonderful fundraiser that helps kids and families:

"This fundraiser supports Kid Lit’s fight against the cruel separation of kids from their families at the U.S. border, and the work of reuniting families."

The answer to a question many may be asking:

"The president signed an executive order ending separations. Isn’t the issue solved?
Short answer: no.

Longer answer: there are two separate and major problems remaining. The first is that over 2,300 children were separated from their parents under the order, and those children have not been reunited with their parents. Many were sent to facilities thousands of miles away, all over the U.S. As of this writing, no assistance has been given to parents of separated children on reuniting with their children. One government document seems to suggest parents are on their own in reuniting with their children, a herculean task for people in detention with no financial resources."

I think all of us are heartbroken over the trauma that these kids and their parents are suffering, and this fundraiser is a great way to help. Please check out the fantastic prizes offered by agents, editors, and authors! You'll find a few familiar names on the auction and raffle list . . . :)
