My children’s book has both illustrations and photographs. Most of the photographs are from one photographer but there are some purchased stock photos and photos given to me with photo release forms. I’m trying to figure out what to put on the cover so that it doesn’t sound like the main photographer is taking credit for all the photos. Would this work -

“written by Rebecca DalMolin, illustrated by Megan Speirs Mack, with photos by Kathryn E. Mertz”

Or does that still sound like all the photos are by Kathryn?

Rebecca, I would interpret that way of saying it to mean all the photos are by Kathryn.

Maybe you could say:

“written by Rebecca DalMolin, illustrated by Megan Speirs Mack, with photos by Kathryn E. Mertz and others”

It's long but would avoid the confusion, I think.

Yeah, I think I’m going to have to do something like that. I just can’t think of any other way to word it. Thank you for your response.
