Aloha, All!

We all work, worry, and wonder about our manuscripts, but, sometimes, if we keep at it and think outside the box, a contract may be in our futures. I'm thrilled to announce that I signed a contract this morning with a traditional publisher based in Hawaii for a picture book, LITTLE CALABASH.  We all love our book babies, and this story has always been near and dear to my heart.  Trying to think outside the box, I finally re-imagined it as set in Hawaii, where we lived for ten years, and submitted it. So---contract signed and delivered this morning!

Take a look at your manuscripts and see if a re-imagination or re-invention might work for  you, as well!
