Hi, everyone. I am new to PB writing and have a question about what a manuscript looks like for a story that can largely be conveyed in pictures. My (novice) understanding of the PB world is 1) trim words when an image can do the work and 2) it is frowned up to include too many descriptions of the pictures in the ms. So what does such a ms look like when there is a story but minimal text? I am thinking of a book like "Pouch!"  Any direction would be appreciated. Sorry if this topic has been covered elsewhere. I am a writer with no illustration skills.

You are correct that you don't want to be too heavy handed in illustration notes, but if it's a nearly wordless PB and the illustrations tell the story, you would need to add more. Linda Ashman did a great post a few years back on how she submitted the MS for "Rain" a nearly wordless PB:
