What are your fave fiction PBs in How To format (not necessarily using the words “how to,” but written as a list of instructions)?  Ex: Tea Rex.  I’m finding Google challenging as it is, of course, bringing up instructions for how to write a PB instead of books written in the form and many do not contain the words “how to”.  So what are your faves?

A few that come to mind with a unique angle:

Matilda's Cat
Emily Gravett
("how to make a cat happy")

How To
Julie Morstad
(simple sentences with imaginative illustrations)

This Plus That: Life's Little Equations
Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Jen Corace
(playful pairings )

Just thought I'd mention that the Publishers Weekly update in my inbox today said that Carol Hinz at Lerner/Millbrook has just acquired a picture book that appears to be in this style. From memory, it was called something like How To Build an Insect. It's encouraging news!
