I learned today that POCKETS magazine's last issue is going to be their January one.

I'm so sorry to see this happen. It's one of my favorite magazines.   :cry2

What a shame. It's so hard for magazines to stay in business these days.

When a good publishing venue closes, it is sad.

So surprised to hear this. They’re one of the strong ones too. So sad that another great magazine is gone. 🙁

I was wondering what was going on when they had no themes listed.  Was afraid this might be the answer.  :(

Making metaphors out of molehills for over thirty years.

It is sad. And it is one of the good ones. I've had a couple of poems in Pockets.

Wow, I just saw this. Sad news. They published a number of my puzzles and poems over the years, including a puzzle in the July 2019 issue.  They are/were a wonderful publication.
