I'm seeking recommendations for well written, self or indie published Middle Grade and Young Adult ebooks. No paranormal romance or depressing issue books, please.

Oooh, I do have recs if you like historical fiction:

Aachen by Gary Ludlam -- this is set in the time of Charlemagne. I interviewed the author here: https://vijayabodach.blogspot.com/2014/05/a-conversation-with-gary-ludlam.html  and had the chance to beta read his thriller. Can't wait to see it in print!

The King's Prey by Susan Peek -- an imaginative and action-packed story of two brothers during the time of St. Dymphna, a teenager who fled because her own father wanted her as his wife. She's the patron saint of people with mental illness and those who work in the field. I loved how the author wove a story around this little-known saint and how skillfully it was plotted.

A World Such as Heaven Intended by Amanda Lauer -- civil war romance. I'm always impressed with people who can write action scenes well.

Happy reading Vonna.

For MG, I have both Rue's The Rabbit Ate My Homework (she used to be here) and Simon Haynes' A Robot Named Clunk in my kindle queue. Looking forward to these humorous stories.
