I am submitting illustrations to a journal. The guidelines say to include my name, email address, and title. I did; my info shows up on the desktop photos of my art, but when I attach the photos to an email, that info disappears. How can I ensure that the editors will see it? I have a 12/1 deadline, so hope you can help! Many thanks!!

They need your info on the art itself?

it says to include title, artist, medium, email address. It doesn't say to put it on the art itself.

Make sure it is in your e-mail and that your name is clear on the art. Also, this info could be in the file name for each individual piece. (I'm not an artist and guessing, but in an educated way.)

What Debbie says - For file names I do: Lesage_Pirate_spread1

When submitting to art shows/grants etc that need specific info I include details in the body of the email in a little block:

Art title
Watercolour
Size

I'm not sure exactly what's happening in your situation but those 2 fixes should cover it.
