Hi there, noob question  here.

How does a manuscript for a pb look like? I have the story, the illustrations and a few words that go with the illustrations but I’m not sure how to piece it all together.

Any help will be much appreciated! Thank you!

You can access SCBWI's resource The Book here https://www.scbwi.org/online-resources/the-book/   (Make sure you are logged in to the SCBWI site).  You mention illustrations, so I assume you are an illustrator as well as an author. Illustrators create a dummy--you might want to do a search on the term dummy.  If you're not a professional illustrator, you do not include illustrations, but, rather, send a manuscript formatted as indicated in The Book.  Hope that helps.

Illustrators often submit a dummy with a formatted manuscript as well. Sometimes guidelines will say which they agent or editor wants. Rebecca has given you the info you need to learn about these.
