Hola everyone! I need some suggestions for a mentor text. I am looking for PB's about two friends who have a fall out (something like The Sandwich Swap) or two children who dislike each other but end up becoming friends. Your suggestions will really help! Thanks

My favorite book on this topic is Enemy Pie by Derek Munson.
Here's a link on children's books about making friends:

Happy reading and writing.

Well, I was going to say Enemy Pie, too.
FWIW, our youth librarian keeps a binder of PBs on certain topics: so if someone comes in wanting a dozen books with bees, or a pet dying, or puddles--she's got it covered. This would be an easy request for a veteran librarian. (Sorry that I'm not one--not trying to dodge the question, but just to suggest an extra resource.)

Another good one would be Liz Rosenberg's What James Said.
