Sixteen-year-old Rebecca is mourning the loss of her boyfriend Alastair, who died in tragic circumstances. Only she knows the full extent of her grief, as their relationship had been a secret. She turns to her best friend Calum for comfort, but he's Alastair's brother and unaware of the relationship, too. When Rebecca and Calum unearth a buried suitcase in an icehouse in the Scottish village of Cromarty, it leads to a series of unexpected and intriguing discoveries.
