Elle and Buddy is the story of a young girl who discovers a passion for racing wheelchairs. She is initially afraid to ride a Ferris wheel, but after she learns to use a racing wheelchair, it gives her the courage to face her fear. The inspiration for Elle and Buddy is from K.D. Rausin's daughter who was the pioneer in making adaptive track available to teens in Florida high schools and is now a member of the University of Illinois Wheelchair Track Team.
"...An inspiring story to anyone to anyone who needs to believe anything is possible, with determination." -- Lew Friedland, Past President, Challenged Athlete Foundation, Florida
