The Gum family is in search of a new home, something more stable than
their flimsy old gum tree, which they share with buzzy bees and their
dear friend Kooka.
After the caravan and combie are packed with gum-leaf sandwiches and
eucalyptus juice, the family sets off around Australia to find a
brand-new, rock-solid abode.
Told through a series of family snapshots and postcards, the story
follows the family as it explores some of Australia's geological
landmarks. From Uluru and Kings Canyon, to the Blue Mountains and the
Twelve Apostles, the family considers the pros and cons of each location
as a potential home.
