Conference Scholarships

BIPOC Scholarship

This scholarship provides tuition to the Virtual New York Conference for Black, Indigenous, and creators of color. Recipients will win base tuition to the Virtual New York Conference. Applicants may submit an artist statement (250 words or less) and a one-sentence logline about their project. SCBWI members only. Up to ten winners will be chosen, with half of the scholarships reserved for women of color.

Open December 1 through January 10.

 

General Conference Scholarship

This scholarship provides tuition to the Virtual New York Conference for any SCBWI member experiencing financial hardship. Recipients will receive base tuition to the Virtual New York Conference. Applicants may submit an artist statement (250 words or less) and a one-sentence logline about their project. SCBWI members only. Up to five winners will be chosen.
