Today's children possess a range of abilities. Learn ways to offer a rich and inclusive reading experience for all in this zoom presentation. Beth Bacon speaks to authors Karen Kane and Jenn Bailey to discuss storytelling strategies and techniques for creating an enriching reading experience across the spectrum. $15 for Members/ $20 for Non-Members. Jenn Bailey is the author of A Friend For Henry; Henry, Like Always; and Henry and the Something New, which feature a boy with his own unique approach to the world. Her writing has won the ALA Schneider Family Honor award (twice!) and the Geisel Honor. Karen Kane is the author of Charlie And Frog, The Bony Hand, and Monster Hands which feature characters who communicate using sign language. Karen’s writing won the Edgar Honor.  Program host Beth Bacon Is the author of I Hate Reading and The Book No One Wants To Read, chapter books that use graphic design to support the reading experience.
