Write Fiction Based on Your Life Experience
Join acclaimed local author Ruth Behar for an in-person workshop on writing fiction based on your own life experiences. Ruth will share her story with us and will give a craft presentation on using your own experience in your fiction. She will bring writing prompts for us, and will save time for your questions.

She is a professor of anthropology <https://lsa.umich.edu/anthro/people/faculty/socio-cultural-faculty/rbehar.html> at the University of Michigan and author of multiple academic works in English and in Spanish. We are lucky to have her present to us.
