This workshop will provide must-know information for both previously published and unpublished creators on negotiating through a typical publishing contract. Sally welcomes questions and queries about choosing your battles with your publisher, and will offer explanations on the terms and confusing language that may be contained in a typical Canadian book contract.
About the Presenter
Sally Keefe Cohen is a literary consultant who has been negotiating book contracts for authors and illustrators for over 30 years. She deals with Canada’s largest and smallest publishing houses and those in between to ensure the rights of authors and illustrators are protected and will result in the most favourable contracts possible.
