All meals will be served cafeteria style in Dogwood’s lake-facing dining room. Please note the following information about food and beverage.
The Dining Room is open for one hour during mealtimes:
Breakfast 8:00 – 9:00 AM
Lunch 12:00 – 1:00 PM
Dinner 6:00 – 7:00 PM
Dogwood cannot guarantee accommodations for dietary restrictions. Salads will be offered with each lunch and dinner to accommodate some restrictions. Guests are welcome to bring snacks and supplemental foods with them to meal times in the dining room if needed. Fridges available in all lodges and guest rooms. However, because meals are paid for in bulk by SCBWI Carolinas, we are unable to refund pricing for any attendees not utilizing the provided meals.

Supper – Roasted BBQ chicken (leg and thigh), macaroni and cheese, steamed vegetables, dinner roll and side salad. Dessert chef’s choice.
FRIDAY Nov 3rd
Breakfast – Bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, grits, gravy, biscuits and hash browns. Yogurt, fruits, and assorted pastries.
Lunch – Chicken salad on croissant with pasta salad and potato chips. Salad option. Dessert chef’s choice.
Supper – Honey baked ham with potato salad, green beans, dinner roll and side salad. Dessert chef’s choice.
SATURDAY Nov 4th
Breakfast – Bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, grits, gravy, biscuits and hash browns. Yogurt, fruits, and assorted pastries.
Lunch – Chicken quesadilla with corn fritters and salsa. Salad option. Dessert chef's choice.
Supper – Fried chicken with baked beans, coleslaw, and hushpuppies. Salad option. Dessert chef's choice.
SUNDAY Nov 5th
Breakfast – Bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, grits, gravy, biscuits and hash browns. Yogurt, fruits, and assorted pastries.

Meals are included in your ticket as follows:
Standard Ticket – Arrive 1pm Fri, Nov 3rd: Includes dinner Friday; breakfast, lunch, and dinner Saturday; breakfast Sunday
Add Friday Morning Intensive – Arrive 9am Fri, Nov 3rd: Includes lunch, and dinner Friday; breakfast, lunch, and dinner Saturday; breakfast Sunday (Alternatively, add on breakfast Friday and arrive 8am)
Add Thursday – Arrive 6pm Thurs, Nov 2nd: Includes dinner Thursday; breakfast, lunch, and dinner Friday; breakfast, lunch, and dinner Saturday; breakfast Sunday
Guest rooms and common areas are equipped with Keurig Coffee makers, a supply of K-cups, and disposable coffee cups. Common areas also have a kitchen sink and paper towels.
Guests are permitted to bring their own alcohol which can be stored in guest room mini-fridges or the common area large fridges. Employees of Dogwood may not legally serve, sell, or touch alcohol on premises.
Complimentary water service will be available in meeting rooms. Guests are welcome to bring their own water bottles.
Soft drinks are available for purchase in the main lodge soda machine.
