100% refund through August 12th
Beginning August 13th, a refund will be offered only if we are able to fill your spot. Refunds at this time will be subject to a 2.9% processing fee.
If one roommate from a Double Occupancy room cancels, the remaining roommate will be charged the Single Occupancy rate, unless they are able to find another attendee to fill the roommate’s spot.

1. 20-Minute Critique/Consult/Review: $80*, Non-Member $110
2. Friday morning Intensive + lunch Friday: $80 + $15 = $95, Non-Member $125, Option to add Friday breakfast buffet $15

Thursday night single lodging + dinner Thursday and breakfast Friday: $100 + $30 = $130
Thursday night double lodging + dinner Thursday and breakfast Friday: $50 + $30 = $80
Thursday night single lodging (NO intensive) + dinner Thursday, breakfast and lunch Friday: $100 + $45 = $145
Thursday night double lodging (NO intensive) + dinner Thursday, breakfast and lunch Friday: $50 + $45 = $95
* The price increase for individual meetings is set by the SCBWI Minimum Honorarium Policy. Meetings have been increased to 20-minute intervals.
By signing up to participate in the Portfolio Showcase, I agree that the submission of the portfolio is solely my responsibility and I hereby assume all risk of loss, theft, damage, destruction, delay and misdirection. Dogwood cannot guarantee accommodations for dietary restrictions. Typical menus are listed on the Food and Beverage page. Specific menus will be posted when available later this year.
Each guest room is equipped with a mini-fridge, and each common room is equipped with a larger fridge and microwave.
Guests are welcome to bring snacks and supplemental foods with them to meal times in the dining room if needed. However, because meals are paid for in bulk by SCBWI Carolinas, we are unable to refund pricing for any attendees not utilizing the provided meals.

SCBWI events as well as Dogwood are weapons-free environments. Please contact SCBWI HQ with questions regarding the Weapons Policy.
Dogwood prohibits the following: use of illegal substances, pets (service animals excepting), use of personal electrical appliances (i.e. crockpot, griddle, etc), tobacco usage beyond the outdoor designated area. Guest rooms must be left in the condition they were found. Attendees will be charged for any damage sustained by venue property.
