The goal of the Carolinas Fall Working Retreat is to provide the opportunity for narrowed focus on works-in-progress or individual careers. Attendees will accomplish this by working through hands-on workshops, participating in lab hours, gleaning from retreat faculty during social times, and experiencing the rejuvenation of a serene waterfront setting.
Attendees will choose one of three tracks for the weekend. You will attend the sessions designated to your track with the other members of your group. Faculty members will rotate among the tracks, giving each group a variety of instructors.
Each track is limited to 20 participants
Due to space limitations, attendees are not able to cross-pollinate (i.e. attend a session from a different track). You may, however, add an intensive from a different track.
Attendees will have plenty of opportunities to mingle with all faculty and members of other tracks throughout the weekend.
If your preferred track is filled and unavailable for selection, you may submit your name to Erica Wood, carolinas-ra@scbwi.org, to be placed on a wait list. There's no guarantee a spot will open so expect to attend your alternate track.
