Critique Across KS & MO

Critique Across Kansas and Missouri

It’s time to register!

Critique Across Kansas and Missouri

May 19 – June 9, 2024

This program coordinates free, one-time critique groups organized and facilitated by SCBWI members from across our two-state region. It’s a great opportunity to connect with writers and illustrators in our region and get your work in front of fresh eyes or have your work critiqued for the first time. Sign-up is also open for non-SCBWI members so reach out to creators who might be interested in SCBWI but haven't taken the leap yet.

Reserve a spot by contacting the host of that group before May 19, 2024. You are welcome to attend more than one group but please understand that joining a group means you are committing to critique other people’s work in exchange for feedback on your own.

Below is the master list of groups, organized by location to help you quickly find those closest to you, under the headings: Kansas, Kansas City area, Missouri, St. Louis area, and Virtual (Zoom or by email). If you have a question about a specific group, please email that volunteer host. If you have general questions about this event, contact Mike Hays at critiqueacrossksmo@gmail.com.

Join the fun, improve your work, and meet people! What better way is there to start your own Creativity Summer of 2024?
