Tokyo Women's Plaza, 5-53-67 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0001 Japan
We love our online creative exchanges, but sometimes for illustrators, online can be limiting. Because of this, we’re holding an in-person session focused on illustration.
When: Saturday, September 14th 6:00pm - 7:30pm (Japan Time)
Share your portfolios, works-in-progress, picture book dummies, tentative sketches etc. Digital and/or traditional artwork is welcome.
This is an opportunity to show your work, ask questions and get feedback and support from fellow members. Even if you have nothing to show this time round, anyone with an interest in illustration is welcome to join (yes, that includes writers!)
We are also lucky to have a special guest, illustrator Paul O. Zelinsky, who just happens to be visiting Tokyo at the time. Paul has been awarded the Caldecott Medal four times for his work and is also a member of the SCBWI Advisory Council. So, one more reason to join us.
Book a spot by registering. You will find further details on what to prepare for the event after registration.
Please note there will be a small charge of 500 JPY collected at the door to cover the cost of room rental.
