L.A.S.T. Shop Talk- In Person & Virtual

Does social media have you licked and your Good Humor® seem to disappear at just the mention of it? Are you trying to figure out how to balance a cone with four scoops on top? Picturing a meltdown by the time you get to the last one? Do you go all out with a banana split— adding whipped cream, sprinkles, and a cherry on top—wondering if slipping up on that peel might be your undoing? Maybe, it is all driving you nuts, and you would rather stick to plain old-fashioned vanilla—the ice, salt, and crank-type—pure & simple?

There are probably as many ways to do social media as there are varieties of ice cream at Baskin Robins! We hope you can join us at LAST for our Social Media Ice Cream Social. We’ll discuss the varieties of this sticky topic and enjoy an old-fashioned time socializing in person and on Zoom.

If you can join us, we’d love to meet up in the outside patio area of the White Lake Township Library (11005 Elizabeth Lake Rd, White Lake, MI 48386). We’ll provide the vanilla, the bowls, and the spoons. Bring a topping if you’d like. Our expanded outdoor internet is free. As the library is closed on Sunday, there should be abundant parking. There are patio tables with umbrellas, benches, and raised-garden seating. Simply reply if you’d like a few pointers on how to traverse the “Rocky Road” of our construction zone. Elizabeth Lake Road is open off of M-59 at the intersection with the Kroger as far as the library, but no further. We’ll still be Zooming and you’re welcome to join us either way. As a partnership with our group and the library, we will have access to the restrooms and the meeting room if the weather is inclement.
