As a child, Monica Flores hated reading and all things that fall under the subject of English. She didn’t become a book worm until she was a teenager, when introduced to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. Since that time, Monica has become an avid reader. During the day, she works as a nurse at the county hospital. She enjoys serving in her church and community, spending time with friends and family, doing family history work, eating chocolate and, of course, reading books. She has written two books Emara’s Challenge and Ziva’s Challenge. Her third book in the A Lamanites Story series is Palla’s Challenge which is in editing and will be released next year.
