Shop Talk: Self Publishing a Board Book with Channing Louise

Jun 06, 2024

Online event

Join Channing as she discusses her experiences self publishing her board book A Chance to Say I Love You. She will share the details from tattered mockups to a tangible book, the steps between and lessons gathered along the way. If you are interested in self-publishing, this is a great way to take notes on some do's, dont's and things to consider. This shop talk will be recorded and available to registered Premium Members through 2024. FREE for Premium Members, $15 USD for Registered Users. Sponsored by Kansas-Missouri SCBWI!

Channing is from McPherson, Kansas. She graduated from McPherson College in 2017 with a B.A in Business Administration, Communication, and Graphic Design. She has two boys, ages 3 and 5 that inspired the creation of her first board book. Currently she works at Atelier Print and Design in McPherson and enjoys being part of the design creation and production world.
