  Keliko was born and raised in Wahiawa, HI, a tiny town that gave her worlds of stories to write about throughout her life. A friend and fellow artist described her work as “fairytale realism” and nothing ever felt so true! Keliko loves fantastical stories that are also rooted in the reality of the entire human experience. She hopes to bring stories to life that resonate with all children – those who feel represented and those who don’t – in order to continue building connections between all of our human spirits.
