I have degrees in art history and traditional animation. Though seemingly opposing disciplines, they play happily together in my head, both informing my current art.
After working for years in traditional, stop motion, and computer animation, including children’s storybook multimedia, I gravitated toward freelance illustration, then headlong into children’s books, which now feels like a natural progression.
I live in Chicago with a small assortment of people and cats. When I’m not drawing digitally, statistically I am gardening in my tiny urban front yard, chatting with passers by while showing their kids how to open the mouth of a snapdragon.
My last name is pronounced “Oh!”
