I am Annelies, an illustrator, designer and business owner living in The Netherlands with my husband, two kids, two cats and a lot of stuffed animals. I love to draw for children – the small and the big ones – I have a passion for creating fun characters and love to bring a smile to your face with my illustrations. My style is animated and sometimes a bit quirky and has a mix of modern and vintage. But always with a bit of humour, humanity and kindness.
ARTIST STATEMENT
My two motto’s are: ‘I want to make beautiful things that make happy‘ and ‘I have never tried that before, so I think I should definitely be able to do that‘.
