• In addition to being a children’s author, I am also a recording artist who writes and sings in the pop, jazz, and children’s genres under the pseudonym of Robert Scott Thayer. I am honored to have received several international songwriting awards including those from Billboard.  My newest children’s tune, Kobee’s Song, was produced by Grammy winner Jim Cravero. It’s upbeat, and has a fun reggae groove. The song is about Kobee Manatee, the protagonist in my first children’s educational picture book.  My newest title, Kobee Manatee: Shipwreck Sea Friends, was released on February 21, 2017.  This is the third installment in the Kobee Manatee Children’s Educational Picture Book series.  I have a degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. I also worked as a copywriter. Ever since I was young, I had a passion for manatees, the oceans, weather, and sea life.  I plan to include all of these subjects in the series.

In addition to my SCBWI membership, I am a member of The Authors Guild, the Save the Manatee Club located in Maitland, Florida and BMI. I currently reside in Newtown, Pennsylvania.
