ABOUT CATHERINE AUSTEN

  • Catherine Austen writes books for children, short stories for adults, and reports for corporate clients. She is the author of two picture books, My Cat Isis, illustrated by Virginie Egger (Kids Can Press) and When the Squirrels Stole my Sister, illustrated by Sean Cassidy (Fitzhenry & Whiteside); two middle-grade comedies, 26 Tips for Surviving Grade 6 (Lorimer) and 28 Tricks for a Fearless Grade 6 (Lorimer), and two young adult novels, All Good Children (Orca Book Publishers) and Walking Backward (Orca). Catherine lives in Gatineau, Quebec. She has given writing workshops and presentations at schools, libraries, and conferences across Canada.
