ABOUT DUSTIN RESCH

I’m Denver, Colorado born and raised, but I’ve been dreaming of the ocean my whole life. Now I’m drawing pictures while scuba diving, as well as writing and illustrating children’s books about octopus, robots, lemurs, underdogs and underrepresented demographics.
I’m very interested in working on nonfiction books on science, social justice, environmental conservation, and the history of intellectual achievement.

ARTIST STATEMENT
- Whether I’m being frivolous or informative, cartoonish or realistic, I always want my work to appeal to everyone with heart and humor. I’m a wildly curious person, and have interests all over the spectrum that I hope to eventually explore through children’s literature.
