ABOUT ELIZABETH MCGOLDRICK

I’m a teacher and a parent. I spend a lot of time with children and they are, hands down, my favorite type of human. My second favorite type of human is my dog, Drake (no relation to rapper, baker, nor explorer). I like my coffee black, my pencils sharp, and my books illustrated. When I’m not mucking about with inks, paints, scissors and glue, I enjoy running in the woods or reading (both with Drake).
ARTIST STATEMENT
My work ranges from simple line drawings to riots of color and texture, but humor and heart are the connecting themes. I am a self-taught artist and a long-time teacher; which lend my work a whimsical and friendly feel.
