Jamie Michalak is a former children’s book editor and a children’s book author. Her titles include Niki Nakayama: A Chef’s Tale in 13 Bites, co-authored with Debbi Michiko Florence, Dakota Crumb: Tiny Treasure Hunter, the Frank and Bean early reader series, Come On In: There’s a Party in this Book, and the Joe and Sparky series of early readers. She has also written many movie and TV show adaptations.
Jamie was born in Springfield, Massachusetts. She now resides in
Barrington, Rhode Island with her husband, two sons, and dog, Lucy Caboose.
