ABOUT JENNIFER PHILLIPS

  • With roots in newspaper reporting and several years in corporate, healthcare and non-profit communications, I’ve had the opportunity to dive into a wide variety of topics. But it’s writing for children that makes my heart soar.

I am an active student of children’s writing. My day job as a creativity and improvement coach in healthcare, together with my home experience helping a child with disabilities navigate the world, pull me to explore stories steeped in creativity and determination.

I have more ideas than time and love opportunities to connect with young readers, their parents and teachers. I also like to encourage new writers who have an urge to tell a story but need a boost on how to incorporate writing work into their lives.
