ABOUT JENNIFER LEA REYNOLDS

  • Author of the children’s picture book, THE CAT WHO LOVED THE MOON (Seacoast Press).

THE CAT WHO LOVED THE MOON is a heartwarming book about finding comfort during times of loss and change. Endorsed by the bestselling author of THE INVISIBLE STRING, a former NASA board advisor, and a notable child/adult psychiatrist, it’s heralded as a heartfelt must-read that’s also fitting for adults.

My book pitch was one of three selected by a literary agent as part of a “How to Pitch a Book Agent” segment that aired on New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR) (scroll down to pitch #3) in June 2016.

Stay tuned for my next picture book, Carl The Not-So-Crabby Crab. It’s designed to demonstrate the power of kindness in unlikely places and the importance of not judging a book by its cover.
I work at the NH Veterans Home as a Recreation Assistant, working with residents to help them enjoy a range of activities. I’m also a freelance writer specializing in health and wellness, work-life balance, weight loss, body image, and life observations. Bylines include U.S. News & World ReportReader’s Digest, Woman’s Day, The Huffington Post, POPSUGAR, Ravishly, and more. I’m also a columnist for Model Aviation magazine and for Psychology Today online (Human Kind).

    I live in New Hampshire.
