ABOUT JOANNE ROSSMASSLER FRITZ
I’ve been writing my entire life but never took it seriously until I survived a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2005. By 2007 I finally felt like myself again and realized if I was ever going to be a published writer, I’d better get busy writing. That’s when I joined SCBWI, attended conferences, and found critique groups. My short fiction has been published in literary magazines and in Highlights. In Sept 2017, I survived another brain aneurysm rupture. Reading and writing are more difficult for me now, but I continue to persevere. My debut novel in verse, EVERYWHERE BLUE, came out June 1, 2021, from Holiday House.
