ABOUT JULIANNA ZITO
I was born in the 70’s in the rural North Hills of Pittsburgh. I grew up as an 80’s child with all the quirky imagination and bright colors that represent that era. I graduated from Deer Lakes High School and was determined to move beyond my country girl roots. I moved all over – Santa Cruz, CA, St. Louis, MO, Philadelphia, PA and even Honolulu, HI. I am now settled down in the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh with my husband, two kids, chihuahua, and cat. My background is full of variety both wonderful and traumatic – all of which inspire me to make people laugh – especially children.
“There are those who cast dark shadows and there are those who shine bright light, but those who shine the brightest, are those who share their light.” This was something I wrote over 10 years ago to remind myself to share my stories both true and imagined to inspire and shine light in the dark places of the world and in the dark places of the heart.
