ABOUT KAREN BUSH GIBSON

  • It seems like writing has always been part of my life. Soon after learning to read The Cat in the Hat Comes Back (and driving my mother crazy as she sat by my side to listen to me read  more than a hundred additional books during my 1st grade year), I decided to put pencil to paper. At age seven, I created stories about Casper the Ghost and decided that it was my destiny to be a writer.

I’ve written a little of everything, including books and articles for children, curriculum, travel, fiction, and even some copywriting. In my opinion, reading is one of the most important skills children can learn. We want to make it engaging so they will be lifelong readers and learners.

I love having a job where no two days are ever the same!
