ABOUT KRISTINA LYN HEITKAMP

  • Born in Washington D.C., Kristina has lived in several states across the United States but is happy to call beautiful Utah home. She earned a B.A. in English from the University of Utah and a M.A. in environmental science and natural resource journalism from the University of Montana.

Kristina has authored over ten nonfiction books on various topics, such as ancient human history and mechanical energy. She is a freelance researcher for National Geographic Books and a contributor to the children’s science magazine Muse. When Kristina is not exploring Utah with a fishing pole or hiking boots, she can be found sitting by a river, plein air writing.
