ABOUT KRISTINE DANIELS
In addition to writing and illustrating books for children, Kristine Daniels is a National Board Certified middle school art educator in Acushnet, Massachusetts. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in fine art from Westfield State College in 1993.
Kristine is the author and illustrator of Floyd and the Irresistible Cookie (Dog Ear Publishing, 2009), Floyd and the Mysterious Night Time Noise (2011) and Floyd and the Sparkling Seashell (2014). Cookie and Night Noise have been made into video productions by the Somerled Charitable Foundation with all proceeds from the sale of DVDs and downloads benefit the MCPCA.
Kristine also enjoys illustrating for other authors, most recently for The Hibernating House by Sandy Leahy and Kathy Tarentino (Dog Ear Publishing, 2013).
Kristine lives in Fairhaven, Massachusetts with her husband, jazz musician Matt Richard, and their three Welsh Corgis.
- Some of my earliest childhood memories are of spending many hours with the books I grew to love. My favorite illustrations were filled with tiny details that kept me entranced for hours. I hope my stories and illustrations bring that same experience and joy to my readers today.
