ABOUT KRISTY CALDWELL

  • Kristy Caldwell is an illustrator whose books include the “Bobs and Tweets” easy reader series by Pepper Springfield (Scholastic) and upcoming picture book Thanks to Frances Perkins, Fighter for Workers’ Rights by Deborah Hopkinson (Fall 2020, Peachtree)

    Kristy has an MFA in Illustration as Visual Essay from the School of Visual Arts. “Caldwell’s artwork is stunning, using rich colors and panels in a graphic novel-like style” is something nice School Library Journal said about her.

    Kristy lives in New York with her theatre-director wife and an amount of plants that is verging on “too many.”
