ARTIST STATEMENT

  • I love art in various mediums.  My favorite is the “old school” hand drawn illustrations, such as those used in The Berenstain Bears series.  I am also in love with the illustrations in the Skippyjon Jones series.  More recently, I have developed an interest in photos used as illustrations.  I find this to be a very interesting and effective concept.

The illustrator of Priceless Penny used digital graphics.  I find this to be a fascinating medium that is always progressing in this ever-changing digital age.
