ABOUT MERRY MILLER-GASS

Merry is a freelance artist who specializes in children’s book illustration. When creating with traditional mediums, she enjoys working in gouache, watercolor, pastel, acrylic & oil. For most projects, she uses the digital version of these tools.
Merry is the Illustrator Coordinator for the SCBWI California: North/Central region, and is an active member of SVS Learn, and the 12×12 Picture Book Challenge.
Merry grew up in the coastal region of Ventura County, located in sunny Southern California. She now lives in the foothills of the Sierras with her husband, children, and their pets.

I strive to infuse humor and heart into all of my work. I love creating quirky characters, silly situations, and pouring warmth and joy into every project.
