ABOUT MICHELE WEBER HURWITZ
Michele is a middle grade author. Her third novel, “Ethan Marcus Stands Up,” published in September from S&S/Aladdin Books. Narrated by five different seventh graders, the story is about sibling rivalry, the spirit of invention, and learning from people who see the world differently. Sequel coming in 2018, titled “Ethan Marcus Makes His Mark.” Michele is also the author of “The Summer I Saved the World…in 65 Days” (Penguin Random House 2014), which received a starred review from The Bulletin of the Center for Children’s Books and has been nominated for state reading awards in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Nebraska. Her novel “Calli Be Gold” (Penguin Random House 2011) was named a starred Best Book by the Bank Street College of Education and was nominated for state reading awards in Illinois and Minnesota.
