• Nancy, a recipient of the New York State Outdoor Education Association’s Art and Literature award, is the author of several nonfiction books, including Crystal Kite Award winner Sniffer Dogs: How Dogs (and Their Noses) Save the World and Green Earth Book Award winner The Story of Seeds.  Nancy enjoys sharing her love of research with adults and kids. She has conducted programs at the Boston Children’s Museum, Atlanta Zoo, Tennessee Aquarium, among others and has spoken at the Science Teachers Association of New York State and New England Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. 

    Nancy served as ARA for the newly formed Eastern NY region for three years before becoming regional advisor. Eastern NY is known for it’s Falling Leaves Master Class retreat and monthly Shoptalk meetings throughout the region.      
    Her latest title is BACK FROM THE BRINK: Saving Animals From Extinction.
