Nelly Buchet is the author of ALA Notable and Irma Black Award winner Cat Dog Dog: The Story of a Blended Family (Schwartz & Wade/ PRH, 2020, with art by Andrea Zuill). Kirkus Reviews gives it a star and Shelf Awareness calls it a “picture book magnum opus.” Her upcoming books include the Can’t Do four board-book series (Bonnier Books UK, with art by Pau Morgan), How To Train Your Pet Brain (Beaming Books, 2022, with art by Amy Jindra), Abuelito (Kind World Publishing, with David Corredor Benavides, 2023, with art by Ana Sanfelippo), Big Sister, Long Coat (North South, 2023, with art by Rachel Katstaller) & more. Nelly splits her time between France and Germany.
