ABOUT OZGE TIGLI
There are two parallel paths in my life. One of them is my academic studies on fairy tales, folk cultures, performances and storytelling, the other one is my illustrations for children’s books and NGOs for children, animals, plants and freedom of speech. These two connected paths reflect my perception of life. The reality contains the nucleus of tales in itself and every tale tells something about the reality. There is a very thin line between the reality and colourful -sometimes very dark- stories. I believe that children stand on this line and I love to stand with them.
There is always time to listen to a story accompanied by steam of a cup of tea and I can believe everything in this world, even they sound impossibly fantastic.
