ABOUT PAT MORA
Pat Mora is an award-winning author of books for children, teens and adults. Her more than thirty books for children include bilingual books and Spanish versions of many of her books published in English. She received a Golden Kite Award in 2005 for DONA FLOR: A TALL TALE ABOUT A GIANT WOMAN WITH A GREAT BIG HEART.
Pat is a popular speaker across the country on her own work, serving diverse audiences, and the creative process. Her book ZING! SEVEN CREATIVITY PRACTICES FOR EDUCATORS AND STUDENTS assists readers in fostering their inventive capacities. Pat’s new books include BOOKJOY, WORDJOY; WATER ROLLS, WATER RISES: EL AGIA SUBE, EL AGUA BAJA, and two books written with her daughter Libby Martinez, I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE and BRAVO, CHICO CANTA!
