• Phyllis Hemann is an award-winning writer, poet and artist. As a journalist, she is the author of hundreds of published articles and editorial pieces for adults and children. Her poetry has appeared in multiple journals and anthologies. She holds a M.F.A. in creative writing from Antioch University Los Angeles and B.A.’s from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and St. Gregory’s University. She currently teaches writing and literature to college students. She also serves as regional advisor for Arkansas SCBWI.
