• Sandi Parsons lives and breathes stories, as a reader, writer and storyteller. Having spent nineteen years working in educational libraries, she is passionate about diversity in storytelling and engaging readers with stories.
    She believes that every child is entitled to see themselves accurately represented in literature and the arts.
    Diversity matters.
    Representation matters.
    Sandi is a Children’s Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Award Judge 2020, 2021 (Early Childhood category).
    Sandi’s creative nonfiction has been published in MiNDFOOD and Frankie. She is a contributor in the Growing Up Disabled in Australia Anthology.
    As a Cystic Fibrosis Warrior, Sandi can swallow twenty-seven tablets with a tiny sip of water.
    She lives in Western Australia with her favourite husband, some problem puppies and many teetering stacks of books.
